I have no idea what is going wrong. Yesterday they worked. Today they don't and no amount of editing will let me post the correct links
See Angharad's link below.

supply pictures if you can.. i have ridden an elephant.
ok so it was at the zoo but it was still an elephant.
Hey that is great. One of the reasons the elephant ride picture contest was started was that the person thought for sure no one else would have a picture of themselves on top of an elephant so he woud win. I even got my image posted faster than he did. Not that I won anything from it but it was fun to catch him at a sneak attack of being the only person to have the picture
i cannot believe the difference in my vision.
even with glasses my vision in the left eye was poor.
but i can now read a 12 font fairly clearly without the glasses.
not of you are in Quebec buddy. There you have to watch out for the dreaded Arrete but a tleast they kept the shape size and color

wannabefree encourage her as much as you can. I knew no one who has had it done soi my anxiety beforehand was sky high. Now? I wish I could get it done tomorrow. Having the imbalance between teh two eyes can't be great for her.
gopher I agree that financially it might be a hurdle. Thank goodness for Health Care in Canada
I went in to see this Dr 2 years ago and she said they were there but not bad enough to operate. This time I saw her Feb 4th and was booked for surgery on the 12th. That is unheard of in Canada. Ususally there is a long wait list. But apparently no with list at all for this particular surgery.

akafreelife cliffjumping sounds fun. I'll take a pass on the other two though.
Terry You are the opposite. I will pass on your #1 and think the second and third would be interesting.
and Min Really? I don't think I want to know although your #1 has got to be the most number of questions ever asked on any forum anywhere on the internet

I cannot believe the difference in my vision. Even with glasses my vision in the left eye was poor. But I can now read a 12 font fairly clearly without the glasses. I haven't been able to do that in decades even with new glasses every year or two.
I was scared about getting the other eye done in April. I thought if the bad eye is just a bit better than before the surgery I will wind up being almost blind for about 8 weeks until I can get new glasses. Now? I am ready.
I cannot believe how bad my vision had gotten. Whites were not while anymore. White was a pale grayish brown. At least that is what I am seeing when I compare the left eye without glasses to the right eye with glasses or without them.
Surgery was a cinch. They give you something to relax you and then freeze the eye and muscles around it. I was in and out of surgery in about 15 minutes. You are awake but your face is draped so that only the eye they are working on can be seen. You see nothing because the eye they are working on has a huge light over you so all you see is white.
You have to fast the night before and they give you something to eat and drink as soon as you come out. I was up and walking within a couple of minutes. And was out if the hospital within an hour. MY ride with paratransport got seriously messed up so I took the regular bus home. No pain except a tiny bit of burning.
I have to put drops in my eye to reduce infection but I am fine. This was way easier than I thought so I can't wait until April to get the other eye done.
If you think you might need it definitely go get it. I am on my 3rd post-op day and am thrilled with the results

I have ridden an elephant
OK so it was at the zoo but it was still an elephant. My grandkids love this pic.
I once won an online contest with this picture. The first person to post a picture of themselves on an elephant would win. And I nailed it first.
I helped trap a skunk. My friend had a box built outside so that his dog could get something to eat if he wasn't home or during the night.
One night we discovered that a skunk had found his way in and out of the box. After a few nights of this we set up a way to trap him. Once he got into the box a door would close and he wouldn't be able to get out. Getting him out of the food box was a bit trickier We placed a small dog carrier over the exit so he could only get into the carrier. We lifted the trap door and after a short wait he came out and entered the carrier. We hoped he didn't decide to spray everything because that would make a wicked smell outside the back door and the skunk would in effect be spraying himself so we hoped he was smarter than that.
We loaded the carrier in the car - still really hoping this little guy wouldn't spray himself. We took him down the road to a wildlife preserve and then debated about who would open the box and let him go. I told my frind I would open the box as long as he took a picture of me doing it. This had to be seen to be believed - well unless I got sprayed and then everyone who came within 50 feet of me know I had gotten too close to a skunk.
He was a little shy coming out so I had to tilt the box so he would be forced to come out. And then I really hoped he would see we weren't a threat and just toddle off. My friend and I stood there immobile. I know I was holding my breath. So we stood there and watched this little guy toddle off into the woods. Haven't seen him sice and really. . . I don't want to.
I have flown this plane:
I was dating the owner (same guy as above with the skunk and I am holding his dog that the skunk was stealing food from) and he took me up for my first ever flight. I was hooked. I love flying.
Once we were up there he showed me things but I just wanted to look around. He said, "Take the controls". and I said no I just want to look. He took his hands off the controls andf told me to take over. So I did.He explained the controls on the intrument panel and how to keep the plane level. It was a pretty awesome feeling but I was glad to give the controls back to him
Once we were back on the ground he let me taxi the plane down the runway back to his hangar.
OK so what are your 3 things?
